Koyulhisar greets you as a town wedged between mountains — plenty of green, very little noise. Its name nods to an old castle, but these days it runs more on walking and quiet than history. Climbing a slope to look down over town, or just sitting in the square watching time pass, are both perfectly reasonable. Wrong door if you're after nightlife, right one if you're after calm.
